ARC Review: Best Worst Ever by L.D. Blakeley

Best Worst Ever - L.D. Blakeley

A novella from the MENDED anthology published by Dreamspinner Press in June 2014.

This was a really cute GFY, friends to lovers story about a gay man and his straight best friend who finally figure it out.

The writing was humorous, and snarky banter is always welcome. The stupid assumption Carey makes toward the end is stupid (STUPID), and that's the only thing that really bothered me in this novella, because I hated that he made that stupid assumption and royally screwed up. Thankfully, Skyler won't let him get away. (Did you think there wasn't gonna be a HEA? See TITLE of this anthology).

Low on angst, with a bit of contrived stupidity, this was a quick, fun read, and I enjoyed it very much. I hope you will too.
