Sequel to Inseparable.
9 1/2 weeks after the accident that put Adam in the hospital and led the two boys to finally confess their feelings for each other, they're still not quite there as far as romantic and domestic bliss are concerned.
Joe is wondering if Adam is really gay, and Adam is wondering if Joe really wants him or not. Kisses are happening, but nothing much else, as both are afraid to really let themselves fall.
Until that night it all comes to a head and the two are confronting their issues over coffee and glowering baristas, over a slow walk back to the apartment and over their first night in the same bed without clothes on. Holy hot boysecks ensues.
This book is cute, sweetly fluffy and funny, with realistic dialogue and two young men who just need time to figure it out. They are very different in personality, and Joe still has a bit of growing up and listening to do, of which he gets ample opportunity in this short novella.
Loved it, and it's prequel. And I will now go hunting for more from this author.
I received both Inseparable and When Adam Kissed Me as free ARCs from the publisher. A positive review wasn't promised in return.
