This was a nice little story, but I would have liked a bit more substance between the sweet romance and the crazy homo-hating drama. Also, the ILY came a wee bit soon, including the "let's move in together".
I also thought that "I'm deeply in the closet" Drake came out much too quickly for someone who's portrayed as fearing the repercussions of coming out to his fellow cops.
And poor Grady. I felt bad for him, but appreciated Drake's honesty. And Adam - dude, I understand you had some bad experiences with a cheater, but the angst just was unfounded, considering you'd only been on a couple of dates.
The writing was good. I lulzed at the poem quite a bit. A more extensive proofread should be done to catch missing punctuation.
Not bad, but would perhaps have worked better for me if a little longer.
